How a sale is made, what is being sold, and what rights a buyer keeps whatever these terms say.

This page describes the terms of a sale: delivery, payment and the right to withdraw. No order can be placed today. The page stays published because it describes the terms that would apply if selling resumed.
A contract needs two identified parties, and the company behind this shop is not registered. Until it is, no order can be placed and no contract can be formed. The terms below are the terms that will apply, published in advance rather than produced after the first sale.
What is being sold
Materials for laboratory research use. They are not medicinal products, food supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, they are not for administration to humans or animals, and they are not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. By ordering you confirm you are acquiring them for research purposes and that you may lawfully do so where you are.
How a contract is formed
Listing an item is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is the offer. A contract comes into being when we confirm the order by email - not when you pay. If we cannot supply what you ordered, we will say so and refund in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of the edition you are reading and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is priced separately and shown before you commit. The price that binds is the one displayed when you order.
Payment is taken on a payment provider's own page. No card details are entered on this site and none reach us.
The certificate is part of the description
Where a certificate of analysis is published against the batch number printed on the vial, it forms part of what is being described and therefore part of what you are buying. Peptorium publishes none at present, and no page here states a purity figure as a measured result.
Delivery
Delivery times and costs are on the shipping page and are shown again before you pay. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us and we will replace or refund.
Withdrawal and complaints
Consumers have 14 days to withdraw and the legal guarantee that goods match their description. Both are set out on the returns page, and neither is limited by anything here.
What these terms cannot do
Nothing here removes or reduces a consumer's rights under the law of the country they live in. Where a term conflicts with those rights, the law wins and the rest of these terms stand.
Governing law
The law of the seller's country of establishment applies, which will be named here with the seller. A consumer keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country of residence regardless.
