This page describes the terms of a sale: delivery, payment and the right to withdraw. No order can be placed today. The page stays published because it describes the terms that would apply if selling resumed.
Dispatch is from within the European Union, so a delivery to an address inside the EU customs and VAT territory is not handled as an import. Ordering has not opened yet. This page separates what is settled from what is still being arranged, and says which is which.

Payment will be taken on the provider's own page: the buyer leaves peptorium.eu, pays there, and returns. No card field will exist on this domain. The order form will carry a VAT number field, so a business buyer can be invoiced.

The delivery charge will be shown in the cart before payment, and the total including VAT before the order is confirmed. No figure appears here until it is the figure the checkout will charge.
Borders
Inside the EU customs and VAT territory
A consignment sent from one member state and delivered in another does not cross a customs border. It is not presented for customs clearance, no customs duty is charged on it, and no import VAT arises at a border. It moves within the single market rather than arriving from outside it.
What that describes, and what it does not
Customs is one mechanism, and the paragraph above describes only that one. Market surveillance by a national authority, and the rules a carrier applies to what it accepts for carriage, are separate mechanisms with separate powers. Nothing on this page is a statement about them. National law also differs between member states, and whether a material may lawfully be bought and held at a particular address is a question for the buyer.
Import VAT and VAT are not the same thing
No import VAT does not mean no VAT. VAT is due on the sale and is accounted for in the country the material is delivered to. When prices are published they will be the total a consumer pays, VAT included, with the delivery charge shown separately before payment.
Territories outside that area
Some territories that belong to a member state sit outside the EU customs territory, outside the EU VAT territory, or outside both. A delivery to one of them is handled as an export and carries formalities that a delivery to Lisbon or Tallinn does not, so the paragraphs above would not hold for it. Peptorium does not deliver to those addresses, and does not deliver outside the Union.

Countries outside the Union are not served either, among them Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The test is the customs territory and VAT territory definitions themselves, not this table: if a territory's status changes, the table changes with it.
The parcel
How the material is packed
Vials travel in a die-cut foam insert inside a plain corrugated outer carton. Lyophilised material is supplied in a sealed vial. The solvent is supplied in a vial closed with a butyl rubber stopper and an aluminium seal.
Temperature in transit
Nothing in this catalogue is specified as requiring transport under refrigeration. The lyophilised materials are specified as stable for up to 30 days at room temperature in transit; the solvent is specified for storage at 15 – 25 °C, protected from light. Those are handling specifications, not analytical results: a certificate of analysis covers purity, identity, peptide content and water. The specification for a given material is on its own page.
Batch numbers
Each vial label carries a batch number, and that number is the only link between a vial and the analysis of the lot it came from. What a certificate of analysis contains, and what to ask any supplier for, is set out separately.
What is not in the parcel
Peptorium supplies reagents and the solvent used to reconstitute them. No syringes, needles or injection equipment are sold here or included in any parcel.
Returns
EU consumer law gives a buyer 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. There are exceptions, among them sealed goods that are not suitable for return once the seal is broken. Which of these applies to a given item, and how a return is started, is set out on the returns page. The terms state the same thing in the form that binds. Anything this page does not answer goes to contact.
Materials intended for laboratory and in vitro research use. They are not medicinal products, food supplements or medical devices, and are not intended for use in humans or animals. When ordering opens, each order will include a declaration that the buyer is acquiring the material solely for research purposes.
Materials in the catalogue are dispatched from within the European Union. Each listing states the chemistry of the material - sequence, formula, molar mass, CAS number, fill size and storage - and no analytical result.
